a testimony & our 17 state road trip.

hi friends :)

i wanted to share with you an awesome testimony and tell you about the road trip we will be taking next week!

testimony first.. so as most of you know, andrew (my husband) works full-time as a carpenter. well, he was in between jobs for a couple weeks, which meant we weren’t recieving a pay check. things were beginning to look tight and we weren’t really sure how we were going to be able to pay our rent and go on this road trip. we sat on our couch talking and started to get worried about our finaticial situation, we let the way things looked in the moment distract us from His promises– for about 30 minutes. but then we begun remembering the times that there was nothing in the fridge in the morning and the Lord brought us a fridge full of food by the night. we remembered the surprise support we’ve received just in time. we remembered how He has never, not once, left us hanging. so, though our conversation on the couch began in doubt and worry it ended with trust and faith, declaring His promises. we went to bed knowing He would make a way. not going on the road trip wasn’t an option for me because the Lord told us to do some very sepecific things on our road trip (which ill get to later) so i knew that if He still wanted us to take this road trip, He would make a way!

well, the next morning i was sharing with my mom our situation and let her know that i was praying for a random huge finantial support to come in. it was a very weak prayer. i wanted to believe He would do it but still didn’t want to super believe it just so that i wouldn’t be disappointed. so the next day as i was sitting in the prayer room i received an email from steve, our financial guy and the first line read.. “hey hannah, i have just received a massive donation for you….”

i just sat there and bawled.

oh the beautiful faithfulness of our King!!! that He would see the weakness of my faith and still come beside us and lift us up! isn’t that just amazing? i love Him!!! the giver of the donation was anonymous and had no idea what we were going through but whoever it was, listen to the voice of the Lord and gave!! man, Jesus is good!

so our road trip will be a total of 11 days. we will drive though and be on the soil of 17 different states. we’re pretty stoked.

about 4 months ago, while in the prayer room the Lord showed me that we were supposed “deposit” life into each state we came into. He asked me to ask Him for things He was saying for each state. so we said yes! we’re going to write everything He tells us down and put them in little glass bottles and at each new state line (unless directed elsewhere) put them in the ground. I’m so excited that the Lord had His own agenda for our little vacation as we celebrate two amazing years of marriage!

please be in prayer with us! i know this is going to an amazing & life changing trip. He miraculously gave us a big piece of the money we needed to go on this trip, so we know and we are trusting He has awesome things in store that we don’t even know yet! if you’d like to contribute anything for our gas that’d be a huge blessing!! you can click on this link & choose a way that is easiest for you.

i love Him so! He is so good!

have a beautiful and blessed weekend!

one voice prayer gathering. redding, ca.

this past weekend the team and i had the privaledge of leading prayer and worship for a two hour slot at the one voice prayer gathering in redding, california.

brian barcelona is the man who started this movement, a 21 year old who is burning with passion for the schools to see revival on campuses and prayer to be restored in schools. he has seen the beginning fruits of revival and is touring across northern california with these prayer events.

the pleasure of the Lord was so evident as high schoolers stood in the gap and made intercession for their campuses, the sate, their families, ect.

it was such a privilege to be apart and to partner with this amazing group of forerunners! you can visit their website’s events page and see if a gathering is coming somewhere close to you. if so, i encourage you to go!

well, just stopping by to give you a fun update. we’re loving life and where the Lord is taking us! thanks for all your finiancial support and prayers! so greatly appreciated.

love,
the aguilars

life takes place behind the face.

last wednesday i was in the prayer room and a misty edwards devo was being streamed. i got completely undone really listening to what she was singing to the Lord. i wrote her song down in my journal as she sang it, so i could look back at the truths she was declaring. i thought id share them here as well. . .

“You’ve hedged me in, with skin all around me. I’m a garden enclosed, a locked garden. And life takes place behind the face, where its me and You alone God. // There’s a place within where no man can go in the secret reservoir of the soul.// in Your jealousy You’ve created me as a garden enclosed, a fountian sealed for You alone. so come into Your garden! // i’m no longer my own, I’m Your garden! // i don’t want to waist my time living on the outside, I’m going to live from the inside out. i don’t want to waist my life living on the outside, I’m going to live from the inside out.”

isn’t that just so so good? i think we can so easily forget that the Holy Spirit, the very spirit of God, is dwelling on the inside of us–  its true. He has carved out a place on the inside of us to behold Him! my prayer is that i would continue to be aware and awaken to this beautiful mystery.

back in march,  i created this image. . .

it has been a great reminder for me to continue to build a house on the inside of me, for Him. because at the end of the day, its all that really matters. i am living for another age. i am living for eternity. and when that day comes when everything that i did with my time, in this life flashes before me, i want to stand there confident that in everything i did, i did it unto Him and with Him!  for life truly takes place behind the face. oh, that i would be His resting place!

+ i really encourage you to listen to mistys devo. just set aside an hour or two of your time– it’ll be worth it! (this song is in the second hour of her devo) He will encounter your heart and you will touch His!

praying continuously for you!

psalms 62:5-8

sometime we just need to stop the busyness & wait silently, in confidence,
before Him.

do it this week.
He’s always speaking– we just need to stop to listen.
